It's Official! Richard's Fabulous Finds has signed a lease and will be opening soon!

Found the space... signed the lease... now it's just a matter of time!

Just had to let everyone know that after months of searching, I have finally found a place to call home...

In the #WOW District, *(West of Western) of Humboldt Park, Chicago at 2545 W. North Avenue will soon be Richard's Fabulous Finds Vintage Menswear & Gifts!

It will take about a month for the renovations and updates to happen... but have no fear the Etsy & ebay stores will stay stocked full of great men's vintage and you will still see me selling in and around Chicago at markets all summer long!

PLEASE consider making a contribution to my GoFundMe fundraiser.....    You can choose a free boutonniere or free 50's deadstock knit tie as your gift...   Direct donations always accepted at richardwb2@gmail.com via Paypal.

Stay tuned, as I am going to walk everyone through the process here on my blog.  From tear down, to build up, to painting, hanging, and stocking... you will get the inside scoop....

Thank you to all that are sharing this journey with me... I couldn't do it without your positive energy and support!

Regards,
Richard

Royal Blue: The color of Summer 2014

ROYAL BLUE....  get into it!

One of the major goals of my vintage collection is also to show men that you can wear vintage and still look modern....

Better fabrics, better construction, better for the environment, and ONE OF A KIND- what's not to love?

During my day as a merchandiser on Michigan Avenue I noted all of the handsome blue hues that saturated many of my accounts.  Attached are just a few examples of very high end designer men's lines....

Now, if you want to do this but via vintage, make sure and check out my Etsy store...  I have been searching for these shades all winter and I hope you find a piece or two in your size....  stay tuned for more suiting this week as well...
